An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a dynamic IT Risk / Cyber Security / Information Security Manager to join a highly reputable Financial Institution. Based in the Central Region, this is a pivotal role that bridges strategic risk management with hands-on technical security execution.
As the Manager, you will be responsible for steering the organisation's IT risk and cyber security posture. You will develop and maintain the cybersecurity framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations (MAS TRM, etc.) and industry best practices. Crucially, this role requires a leader who is equally comfortable creating high-level policy as they are diving into the technical details of security architecture, vulnerability management, and incident response.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of minimum 6 years in IT Risk/Cyber Security within Banking or Financial Services, combined with at least 3 years of hands-on IT technical security experience. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Enterprise IT Risk and Cyber Security framework and roadmap.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and gap analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigating controls.
- Manage and coordinate the response to cyber security incidents, breaches, and threats.
- Provide hands-on technical oversight for security architecture design, including network, cloud, and application security.
- Lead security awareness training programs and cultivate a risk-aware culture across the organisation.
- Oversee third-party security reviews and manage relationships with external auditors and penetration testing vendors.
- Prepare and present insightful IT risk and security reports to senior management and relevant risk committees.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations including MAS Technology Risk Management (TRM) guidelines.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 6 years of working experience in IT Risk, Cyber Security, or Information Security within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on IT technical security experience (e.g. Security Operations, Security Architecture, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessment).
- Strong understanding and practical application of industry frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and regulatory standards like MAS TRM.
- Proven experience in managing cyber security incidents and leading post-incident reviews.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical risks into business language.
- Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISA are highly advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
