Sea Limited is looking for an IT Security Intern to join our Corporate IT team. As the backbone of our business, our IT team plays a crucial role in defining technology objectives and maintaining operational excellence. In this 6-month internship, you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, working alongside experts to safeguard our infrastructure and data. You will assist in monitoring security systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to incidents, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our security posture. This is an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates to kickstart their career in cybersecurity within a leading global technology company.
Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts and logs to identify potential threats and suspicious activities.
- Support the IT Security team in conducting vulnerability assessments and preparing for penetration testing activities.
- Help maintain and update the company's security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Respond to and triage IT security incidents in accordance with established protocols and escalation paths.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the secure configuration of new hardware, software, and network devices.
- Conduct research on emerging security threats and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Participate in security awareness training sessions and help disseminate best practices to colleagues.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls) and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Familiarity with security concepts such as encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is preferred for documentation purposes.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new security tools and technologies.
