Are you a hands-on IT professional looking to make a measurable impact? SAMEE is seeking a dedicated IT Service Engineer to join our team in Bayan Lepas, Penang, for a 12-month contract. In this role, you will be the backbone of our local operations, ensuring that our technical infrastructure runs seamlessly to drive business productivity.
You will be responsible for providing high-level technical support, maintaining hardware and software systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges. Tanggung Jawab
- Provide first and second-level technical support for end-users regarding hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Perform regular maintenance and monitoring of IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and peripherals.
- Manage the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of operating systems and business-critical software.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical procedures, system configurations, and support tickets.
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify recurring technical bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security protocols, and data protection standards.
- Manage inventory of IT assets and coordinate hardware repairs or replacements as necessary.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an IT service desk, desktop support, or systems administration role.
- Strong proficiency in Windows OS environment and familiarity with macOS or Linux is a plus.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and troubleshooting tools.
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365 administration, and endpoint security software.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a patient, customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
