Search Personnel is seeking a dedicated IT Support Engineer to support our operations in the East Region of Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, network infrastructure, and server environments.
Your primary duties will include performing routine maintenance, monitoring system health, and promptly addressing first‑level (L1) incidents to minimize downtime for our retail teams and customers. You will work closely with senior IT staff to implement patches, updates, and security fixes across POS terminals, servers, and network devices.

Tanggung Jawab
- Maintain POS systems, including software updates, hardware checks, and troubleshooting of transaction issues.
- Monitor network performance and ensure stability of LAN/WAN connectivity, router, and switch configurations.
- Perform routine server maintenance, including patching, backups, and health checks for Windows and Linux servers.
- Respond to L1 support tickets, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues within SLA.
- Document technical procedures, inventory records, and incident reports to support knowledge base and compliance.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for escalated issues and timely resolution.
- Assist in the implementation of new IT projects, such as system upgrades and rollouts.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration roles.
- Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic Linux commands.
- Experience with POS systems, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and server management.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a retail environment.
- Good communication skills in English; Mandarin is a plus.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies.
