As an IT System Support Intern, you will play a vital role in ensuring our network and systems run smoothly. You will be exposed to enterprise-level hardware, cloud services, and client-facing technical support. We value curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a strong drive to learn about web hosting infrastructure and IT operations.
Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the IT support team in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Monitor server performance and assist in the maintenance of hosting infrastructure.
- Perform routine system updates, backups, and security patches under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Provide tier-1 technical support to internal staff and clients regarding hosting services.
- Configure and deploy workstations, software applications, and peripheral devices.
- Document technical procedures and update internal knowledge base articles.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for optimizing current IT workflows.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
- Final-year students seeking an internship placement are highly encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Subnetting).
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux/Unix operating environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Passion for web hosting, cloud technologies, and system administration.
