Are you a skilled IT professional looking for a dynamic contract role in Mandaluyong City? HR Network is seeking a dedicated IT Technical Support specialist to join our client's retail operations team. In this pivotal role, you will be primarily responsible for the preventive maintenance and overall reliability of the IT infrastructure across multiple store locations.
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing first-level and second-level support for a diverse range of technologies, including Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, workstations, network equipment, and peripherals. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on IT equipment across all store locations to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot POS systems, desktops, laptops, barcode scanners, and other peripherals.
- Monitor network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls) to ensure reliable connectivity and security.
- Manage IT asset inventory, procurement coordination, and software licensing compliance.
- Document technical processes, incidents, and solutions in the IT ticketing system.
- Assist in the rollout of system updates, patches, and new technology implementations at store level.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of solid experience in IT support, technical helpdesk, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Windows OS (10/11), Microsoft 365 administration, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience supporting retail systems (e.g., POS, RFID, inventory management) is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and travel to various store locations in Metro Manila.
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools and IT service management (ITSM) ticketing platforms.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified) are highly regarded.
