Transform Information (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team on Penang Island. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality technical support, installing and configuring hardware and software, and ensuring the reliability of our IT infrastructure. You will act as the first point of contact for user queries, diagnose issues efficiently, and implement solutions that keep our business operations running smoothly.

Tanggung Jawab
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and operating systems (Windows, Linux) to meet organizational standards.
- Perform regular troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for end‑users.
- Set up and manage user accounts, email configurations, and access controls using Active Directory and other directory services.
- Monitor network performance, implement security patches, and ensure anti‑virus/anti‑malware solutions are up to date.
- Provide timely technical support via phone, email, or in‑person, documenting all incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, including hardware rollouts, software deployments, and system upgrades.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on IT equipment, and maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Contribute to the development of IT policies, procedures, and best‑practice guidelines to enhance service quality.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience in hardware installation, software configuration, and IT support.
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems and basic Linux command‑line operations.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and ability to troubleshoot local area network (LAN) issues.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and endpoint security tools.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English; Malay language is a plus.
- Holder of a valid Malaysian driver’s license and able to travel within Penang Island when required.
