As a Workplace Support Intern, you will be the backbone of our end-user computing environment. You will be exposed to enterprise-level hardware, complex software configurations, and the nuances of troubleshooting critical systems. This internship is designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world application, providing you with mentorship and professional development opportunities in the heart of Petaling Jaya.
Tanggung Jawab
- Perform end-to-end installation and configuration of desktop and laptop hardware.
- Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows operating systems and resolve common user-end technical issues.
- Manage the deployment and configuration of essential software applications.
- Assist in the maintenance of workplace IT peripherals, including printers, scanners, and network devices.
- Provide tier-1 support for internal staff and document technical resolutions.
- Participate in hardware inventory tracking and asset management documentation.
- Support the team in routine system health checks and security patch updates.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and general hardware components.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive learning attitude.
- Good communication skills in English and Malay to effectively support team members.
- Ability to commit to a full-time internship duration (minimum 3 months).
- Fast learner, tech-savvy, and highly organized.
