Are you ready to leave your mark on the global gaming industry? Kooapps is on a mission to build the first global Filipino gaming brand, one that the entire nation can be proud of. We are currently seeking a creative and dedicated Jr./Sr. 3D Game Artist to join our dynamic team in Makati City.
This is a unique opportunity for both junior talent looking to kickstart their career and senior artists seeking to lead creative initiatives. We offer a 6-month paid intensive training program designed to fast-track your growth and ensure you have the skills needed to succeed in a fast-paced studio environment.
As part of our creative department, you will be responsible for bringing our virtual worlds to life. You will work closely with our art leads and technical directors to ensure that every asset is not only visually stunning but also optimized for performance across various platforms.
Tanggung Jawab
- Conceptualize and create high-quality 3D assets, characters, and environments for mobile games using industry-standard tools.
- Utilize game engines (like Unity or Unreal) to integrate assets, apply textures, and implement lighting.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure visual consistency and technical feasibility of game features.
- Optimize 3D models and textures to meet memory and performance requirements for mobile devices.
- Participate in iterative design reviews and provide creative feedback to enhance the overall game experience.
- Follow art direction and style guides while maintaining artistic integrity and creative freedom.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience (Junior) or strong portfolio (Senior) demonstrating 3D modeling, texturing, and rigging skills.
- Proficiency in 3D software such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max, and image editing software like Photoshop.
- Experience with game engines (Unity 3D or Unreal Engine 4/5) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of art fundamentals, including anatomy, perspective, color theory, and composition.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a diverse, cross-functional team.
- Passion for mobile gaming and a desire to contribute to the growth of the Philippine gaming industry.
