Your Role & Impact
As the face of Bungkus Kaw Kaw at the Empire Shopping Gallery, you will be responsible for crafting delicious, high-quality beverages, maintaining a spotless and inviting workspace, and engaging authentically with our diverse community of guests. You will learn to master the art of espresso extraction, milk texturing, latte art, and pour-over techniques.
Key aspects of your day-to-day include operating the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, restocking and rotating supplies to minimize waste, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP), and actively contributing to a high-performing team environment. We are looking for someone with a "can-do" attitude who thrives in a fast-paced retail setting. Whether you are a seasoned barista or completely new to the industry, we provide the training and mentorship you need to succeed.

Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages according to Bungkus Kaw Kaw's recipes and standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, taking orders accurately and engaging with customers in a friendly manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, workstations, and dining area to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Handle cash and card transactions efficiently using the POS system.
- Restock and rotate coffee beans, milk, and other supplies to minimize waste.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including equipment setup and cleaning.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines diligently.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum SPM / O-Level or equivalent; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in a café or F&B environment is a strong advantage but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.
- Genuine passion for coffee and willingness to learn about brewing techniques and flavor profiles.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and high standards of hygiene.
- Must be willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and strong team spirit.
