- Assist Senior Chefs in the daily preparation of ingredients (Mise en Place) to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Execute basic cooking tasks and support the line during peak service hours.
- Maintain the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
- Monitor and manage food stock levels, assisting with inventory counts and rotation (FIFO).
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency in food quality.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils according to safety guidelines.
- Ensure all food storage areas are organized and ingredients are stored at correct temperatures.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and food handling protocols.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a Basic Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant environment is highly preferred.
- Genuine passion for healthy eating, nutrition, and the culinary arts.
- Strong ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn new culinary techniques.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- Basic understanding of food safety (HACCP) and sanitation standards.
- High level of discipline, punctuality, and attention to detail.
