In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of the Philippines energy transition. You will design and analyze utility-scale and commercial & industrial solar photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. Your technical work will directly contribute to the successful delivery of major tenders and project execution.
You will prepare detailed single-line diagrams (SLDs), electrical drawings, technical specifications, and comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs). Collaborating closely with senior engineers and project managers, you will ensure all designs are optimized for performance, cost-efficiency, and compliance with local grid codes, safety standards, and the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC).

Tanggung Jawab
- Design and optimize solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for various project applications.
- Prepare accurate single-line diagrams (SLDs), electrical schematics, and general arrangement drawings using AutoCAD and specialized software.
- Develop detailed technical specifications and complete Bills of Materials (BOMs) for project tenders and procurement processes.
- Conduct energy yield assessments, shading analysis, and system performance simulations using PVsyst or Helioscope.
- Perform electrical load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop analysis, and protection coordination studies.
- Collaborate with project development teams to review contract documents and ensure design compliance.
- Assist in technical due diligence and provide innovative design solutions to improve system efficiency and cost.
- Stay updated on the latest renewable energy technologies and Philippine regulatory standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BS EE) or a closely related field.
- Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) is highly advantageous but open to fresh graduates.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in solar PV, BESS, or general electrical power systems design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Experience with PVsyst, SketchUp, or Helioscope is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of electrical theory, power systems, and the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willing to work on-site in Mandaluyong City and travel to project sites as required.
