RWDI is a global leader in wind engineering, acoustics, and structural engineering. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Wind Engineering Team in Kuala Lumpur City Centre as a Junior Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to gain hands-on experience in assessing the impact of wind on complex structures, ranging from high-rise buildings and stadiums to bridges and industrial facilities.

In this role, you will collaborate with senior engineers to support wind tunnel testing campaigns and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations. You will be responsible for analyzing wind pressure and velocity data, preparing technical reports, and ensuring that our designs comply with international building codes and standards. Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist in the execution of wind tunnel testing programs, including model preparation and data acquisition.
  • Perform computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations using industry-standard software such as ANSYS Fluent or OpenFOAM.
  • Analyze wind pressure and velocity data to determine wind loads on structures.
  • Prepare technical reports, charts, and presentations for clients and project teams.
  • Review architectural and structural drawings to identify potential wind-related issues.
  • Conduct research on wind engineering standards, such as ASCE 7, Eurocode, and local Malaysian codes.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including architects and structural engineers.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of wind loading principles, aerodynamics, and structural mechanics.
  • Familiarity with CFD software (e.g., ANSYS, Star-CCM+) and CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Knowledge of international building codes and wind engineering standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear technical reports.
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
