Huayue Nickel Cobalt is seeking a dedicated and proactive K3 Chemical Engineer to join our team in Sulawesi Tenggara. In this critical role, you will leverage your strong problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve complex chemical safety issues using a systematic, data-driven approach. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by implementing and monitoring safety protocols within our nickel processing operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can ensure compliance with both Indonesian safety regulations and international standards, contributing significantly to operational excellence and the well-being of our workforce.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor K3 (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies specifically related to chemical handling and industrial processes.
- Conduct regular chemical safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to perform root-cause analysis and implement effective preventive measures.
- Manage the storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous chemicals in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to integrate safety protocols into daily operational workflows.
- Deliver comprehensive training programs and safety briefings to employees regarding chemical safety and emergency response procedures.
- Maintain accurate safety records, incident reports, and prepare detailed documentation for management and regulatory bodies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Professional certification in K3 (Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja) is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in chemical safety management, preferably within the mining, smelting, or petrochemical industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle chemical safety issues systematically.
- Deep understanding of Indonesian labor laws, chemical safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training, reporting, and cross-departmental collaboration.
