About the Role
Are you a seasoned sales professional with a deep understanding of the Food and Personal Care ingredients industry in Indonesia? PT BAC (Bensa Adhi Cipta), a premier B2B distributor, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our growing team in Surabaya.
What You Will Do
In this pivotal role, you will be the primary driver of expansion within the Food & Personal Care division. You will cultivate strategic relationships with high-value key accounts, actively identify new business opportunities, and relentlessly pursue ambitious sales targets in the East Java region. Your expertise will directly impact our market leadership.
We are looking for a strategic thinker who combines a hunter mentality with strong relationship management skills. You will leverage your technical knowledge to provide tailored solutions to clients in R&D, Procurement, and Production. You will negotiate contracts, manage pricing, and collaborate with supply chain and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
Representing PT BAC at industry events and trade shows will be a key part of this role, enhancing our brand presence.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic account plans to drive significant revenue growth within the Food & Personal Care ingredients sector.
- Manage and nurture a diverse portfolio of key B2B accounts in the Surabaya and greater East Java regions, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and retention.
- Proactively identify, prospect, and acquire new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase market share.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers including R&D, Procurement, and Production Managers.
- Collaborate closely with international principals and internal technical teams to provide customized ingredient solutions that meet client needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide strategic insights and actionable intelligence to senior management.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, detailed reports, and compelling presentations for management and principal reviews.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven, hands-on experience in B2B sales, specifically within the Food Ingredients or Personal Care Ingredients industry.
- Strong existing network and established relationships with key accounts in the East Java market (Surabaya, Malang, Sidoarjo, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (verbal and written).
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and exceeding aggressive sales targets and KPIs.
- Strategic and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to business development.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the East Java region as required.
- Highly motivated, self-starting professional with a hunter mentality and a genuine passion for sales and the ingredients industry.
