Yunus Cafe is currently seeking two dedicated Kitchen Assistants to join our dynamic culinary team. If you have a passion for preparing authentic local dishes and take pride in maintaining high standards of food quality and kitchen hygiene, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you will assist our head chefs in the daily preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring that every dish served to our guests meets our strict standards of taste and presentation. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and plating of local dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain a high level of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and organization at all times.
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols (HACCP).
- Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients for cooking and service.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment thoroughly.
- Assist with inventory management, including checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Support the kitchen brigade during busy service periods to ensure efficient workflow.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure an excellent guest experience.
Kualifikasi
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic food hygiene, safety, and proper handling practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Enthusiasm for cooking and a willingness to learn new culinary techniques.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
