Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist the Head Chef and culinary team in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including regular cleaning of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, HACCP guidelines, and health department standards at all times.
  • Receive, check, and store incoming food supplies in an organized, sanitary, and labeled manner.
  • Assist in portioning, plating, and garnishing dishes to ensure visual appeal and consistency before service.
  • Monitor inventory levels of dry and perishable goods and promptly report any shortages or spoilage to the kitchen management.
  • Support the kitchen team during peak service hours to ensure timely and efficient food delivery.

Kualifikasi

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is an advantage but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen equipment operation.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining focus and attention to detail.
  • Physically fit to perform manual tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights (up to 10kg).
  • Basic English communication skills to follow verbal instructions and collaborate effectively with the culinary team.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and night shifts.
