As a key member of our BOH team, you will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of food quality and kitchen safety. Whether you are prepping fresh ingredients or executing complex plating techniques during high-volume service, your work will directly contribute to the exceptional dining experience our guests expect. We are looking for individuals who thrive under pressure, maintain a clean workspace, and are eager to grow their skills in a professional kitchen environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Execute daily food preparation tasks including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients with precision.
- Master the art of plating to ensure every dish meets Menya Kokoro’s visual and quality standards.
- Manage station flow during high-volume service hours to ensure timely food delivery.
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols (HACCP) at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the Head Chef to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform deep cleaning of the kitchen area as scheduled.
- Collaborate effectively with service staff to ensure seamless communication between the kitchen and front-of-house.
Kualifikasi
- At least 1 year of experience as a Kitchen Cook, Prep Cook, or Line Cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle the physical demands of a high-volume kitchen.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on food presentation and consistency.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well within a team.
- Culinary school background or formal hospitality training is a plus but not required.
