Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily preparation and cooking of menu items.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in all kitchen workstations.
- Follow established recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality.
- Assist in the receiving, checking, and storage of incoming food supplies to minimize waste.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain cooking utensils, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
- Support the kitchen brigade during service hours to ensure efficient and timely food delivery.
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate shortages to management promptly.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen setting as a Commis Chef or Cook.
- Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new culinary techniques, and follow instructions closely.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the culinary team.
- Physical stamina to handle the physical demands of a commercial kitchen.
