As a Kitchen Helper, you will work closely with our professional chefs to prepare fresh ingredients, organize kitchen inventory, and assist in maintaining a safe, hygienic environment. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the culinary team with daily food preparation, including washing, chopping, and peeling ingredients.
- Ensure the kitchen workspace is kept clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Support in the receiving and proper storage of food supplies to minimize waste.
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, slicers, and ovens.
- Assist in plating food according to presentation standards established by the Head Chef.
- Maintain proper waste disposal protocols and sanitation routines throughout the shift.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Kualifikasi
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an advantage but not strictly required.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle the physical demands of a busy kitchen.
- Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of following detailed instructions.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required by the tourism industry.
- Basic command of Bahasa Malaysia and/or English.
