As a key member of our back-of-house team, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality culinary experiences to our guests. From preparing fresh ingredients to assisting line cooks and maintaining an immaculate kitchen environment, your daily contributions will ensure seamless kitchen operations. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare raw food ingredients daily, including washing, chopping, slicing, and portioning meats, vegetables, and condiments.
- Assist line cooks and chefs with basic food preparation and assembly of dishes according to standard recipes.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness by sanitizing work stations, utensils, kitchen equipment, and dishes.
- Ensure proper storage of food items, adhering to First-In, First-Out (FIFO) guidelines and temperature controls.
- Monitor and report inventory levels of raw ingredients and kitchen supplies to the kitchen supervisor.
- Comply strictly with food safety, sanitation, and hazard regulations (HACCP) at all times.
- Assist in unloading delivery trucks and organizing stock in cold storage and dry pantries.
Kualifikasi
- At least a High School Graduate; vocational diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or Tourism is a plus.
- Prior experience as kitchen staff, commis, or helper in a casual dining restaurant is highly preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment operation, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a positive, customer-oriented attitude.
- Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods, lifting kitchen supplies, and working in hot kitchen environments.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules at SM Sta. Rosa.
