Tanggung Jawab

  • Ensure all kitchen equipment, including pots, pans, plates, and cutlery, are washed, sanitized, and stored properly according to hygiene protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including floors, surfaces, and waste disposal zones, to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Support the culinary team by assisting with basic food preparation tasks and ingredient handling when required.
  • Operate industrial dishwashing machines and ensure they are cleaned and functioning correctly.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or equipment maintenance needs to the supervisor.
  • Ensure all chemical handling and sanitation procedures strictly follow company safety policies and local health regulations.
  • Assist in the deep cleaning of kitchen facilities, including refrigerators, ovens, and storage areas, on a scheduled basis.

Kualifikasi

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward, dishwasher, or in a similar back-of-house hospitality role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen sanitation, food safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift heavy kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as required by kitchen operations.
  • A proactive team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines accurately.
