About the Role

As a Steward, you are the operational backbone of our kitchen. Your primary responsibility is to uphold the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety across all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils. This critical role ensures smooth daily operations and directly contributes to an unforgettable dining experience for our valued guests. You will work closely with the culinary team in a fast-paced, energetic atmosphere where every detail matters.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Ensure all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and drains, are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
  • Wash, dry, and properly store all dishes, pots, pans, and cooking utensils.
  • Assist in the proper rotation, storage, and handling of food supplies to minimize waste.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, such as ovens, fryers, and grills.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and garbage strictly following restaurant procedures.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, notifying the supervisor of any shortages or needs.
  • Support the culinary team with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the chef.

Kualifikasi

  • Previous experience as a Steward, Kitchen Porter, or Cleaner in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is highly preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and comfortably handle the physical demands of the role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
