Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspection, and repair of all commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, stoves, refrigeration, dishwashers, exhaust hoods).
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues within the kitchen facilities.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to minimize operational downtime and food waste.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and warranty servicing.
- Maintain detailed logs and records of all maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment history.
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and HACCP regulations.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new kitchen equipment.
- Provide technical guidance to kitchen staff on proper equipment usage and safety protocols.
Kualifikasi
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience as a Kitchen Technician or similar role in a hotel, restaurant, or institutional kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, including electrical, gas, steam, and refrigeration systems.
- Vocational diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Electrical are a strong advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the hotel operation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
