PT Krakatau Posco is a prestigious joint-venture steel manufacturing company between POSCO and PT Krakatau Steel. We are currently seeking a professional and highly motivated Korean Interpreter (Contract) to join our dynamic team in Cilegon, Banten. In this vital role, you will act as a key cultural and linguistic liaison, facilitating seamless, high-accuracy communication between Korean expatriates, management, and local Indonesian stakeholders.
As a Korean Interpreter, you will be deeply integrated into our daily operations, translating technical terms, business discussions, and operational instructions. Tanggung Jawab
- Translate and interpret verbal communications during business meetings, operational briefings, and technical discussions from Korean to Indonesian/English and vice versa.
- Provide high-quality written translations of technical manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), official emails, and project reports.
- Accompany Korean expatriates and technical experts during on-site inspections, audits, and daily manufacturing plant walkthroughs.
- Bridge cultural differences and foster a collaborative working environment between Korean and Indonesian employees.
- Assist in administrative tasks and coordinate logistics or scheduling for Korean management as required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive corporate data, strategic discussions, and company documentation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Korean Language, Linguistics, Literature, or a related discipline.
- Possess a valid TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) certificate, minimum Level 5 or higher is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of professional experience as a Korean-Indonesian-English interpreter, ideally in a manufacturing, heavy industry, or construction setting.
- Fluency in both written and spoken Korean and Indonesian; working proficiency in English is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of Korean business etiquette, cultural nuances, and professional communication standards.
- Willing to work on-site in Cilegon, Banten under a contract agreement.
- Highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
