We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized Lab Assistant to support our scientific operations on a 1-year contract basis. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in our research and development activities, ensuring that laboratory processes are executed with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be proactive in maintaining a safe and sterile environment, managing inventory, and supporting the wider scientific team. We pride ourselves on offering flexible working hours, ranging from 8:00am to 5:30pm, 9:00am to 6:30pm, or 9:30am to 7:00pm, Monday through Friday. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation, handling, and accurate labelling of biological and chemical samples.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of laboratory workspaces and equipment.
- Record experimental data and observations accurately in laboratory logs and databases.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (SHE) regulations.
- Assist senior scientists and laboratory technicians with routine procedures and troubleshooting.
- Conduct routine quality checks on reagents and equipment to ensure operational standards.
- Manage laboratory inventory and assist in procurement processes when necessary.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with high precision.
- Basic understanding of laboratory safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Proficient in using standard laboratory instruments and computer software.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
