KLK Alami Edible Oils Sdn Bhd is currently seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our expanding manufacturing team in Teluk Panglima Garang. In this role, you will be the frontline of our quality assurance process, ensuring that our world-class edible oil products consistently meet rigorous safety and industry standards.
As a Lab Technician, you will play a vital role in our daily operations, from evaluating incoming raw materials to conducting precise analysis of in-process samples and final products. We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable working in a fast-paced laboratory environment, adheres strictly to safety protocols, and possesses the analytical mindset necessary to maintain the integrity of our supply chain. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct routine inspection and chemical/physical analysis of incoming raw materials according to the QC plan.
- Perform in-process testing to ensure manufacturing parameters remain within specified limits.
- Analyze final products to verify compliance with quality specifications before release.
- Document laboratory results accurately in the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure precision and prevent downtime.
- Assist in the collection and preparation of additional samples for ad-hoc quality investigations.
- Strictly adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and site safety regulations.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory or quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and laboratory safety standards.
- Ability to operate common laboratory instruments (e.g., spectrophotometers, moisture analyzers).
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to perform shift work if required by the production schedule.
