LEM Company is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Engineer to join our manufacturing facility in Simpang Ampat, Penang. As a Laboratory Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of both newly developed products and mass production items. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive tests, analyzing data, and recommending improvements to enhance product performance and manufacturing efficiency.
In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and quality assurance to support product lifecycles from initial concept through to mass production. Your expertise in laboratory testing and quality control will be instrumental in identifying potential issues early, reducing defects, and maintaining high standards of excellence.

Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct laboratory testing on new product developments and routine mass production samples to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Analyze test data, generate reports, and present findings to engineering and management teams.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with quality standards and safety protocols.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with R&D and process engineers to support product design improvements and defect resolution.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis.
- Document procedures and results in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Materials) or a related scientific field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in laboratory testing within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001).
- Proficiency in data analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
