Ultra Clean Technology is a global leader in the manufacturing of high-purity products for the semiconductor industry. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Buyer II to join our dynamic team in Batu Kawan, Penang.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring that our production lines have access to the essential materials needed to maintain operational excellence. You will be responsible for sourcing high-quality components, negotiating favorable terms with vendors, and optimizing the supply chain to reduce costs while maintaining reliability.

Tanggung Jawab
- Sourcing raw materials and components from domestic and international suppliers to meet production requirements.
- Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Managing the Purchase Order (PO) process, from creation to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, including production and engineering teams, to forecast material needs accurately.
- Monitoring inventory levels and market price fluctuations to recommend strategic purchasing decisions.
- Resolving supply chain issues and discrepancies with vendors promptly to minimize production downtime.
- Collaborating with the team to implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, procurement methodologies, and vendor management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage external relationships.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high attention to detail.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is highly preferred.
