St. Augustine Publications, Inc, a premier publisher of educational and inspirational materials, is looking for a creative Layout Artist/Book Design Artist to join our design team in Quezon City. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and producing stunning book layouts that captivate readers and support our mission of delivering high-quality content.
In this role, you will collaborate with editors and marketing professionals to interpret design briefs, select typography, and create visually coherent page compositions. You will handle everything from initial concept to final print-ready files, ensuring consistency and excellence in every project.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design and produce book layouts, covers, and internal pages using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.
- Ensure consistency in typography, colors, spacing, and imagery across all publications.
- Prepare print-ready files and coordinate with printers to ensure high-quality output.
- Modernize existing book templates and formats to improve visual appeal and readability.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and production schedules.
- Stay updated with design trends and publishing technologies to bring innovative ideas to the team.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Art/Design, Creative Multimedia, Advertising/Media, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in layout design, book design, or related field; strong portfolio required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and page composition principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of print production and pre-press processes is an advantage.
