Oriental Fastech Manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Lead Engineer to oversee our high-precision sheet metal and CNC machining projects in Bukit Minyak, Penang.
In this pivotal role, you will lead a dedicated technical team, ensuring that every project adheres to strict quality standards while maintaining operational excellence, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. You will act as the technical bridge between design requirements and shop-floor execution, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our manufacturing capabilities.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and supervise technical engineering teams in the production of complex sheet metal and CNC machined components.
- Oversee project lifecycles from initial design evaluation to final delivery, ensuring strict compliance with engineering specifications.
- Optimize production workflows to reduce lead times, minimize wastage, and maximize cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve technical bottlenecks and improve manufacturing output.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control protocols to ensure zero-defect production cycles.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and progress updates for senior management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of hands-on experience in high-precision manufacturing, specifically in CNC machining and sheet metal fabrication.
- Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams and production schedules.
- Deep understanding of GD&T, CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), and manufacturing ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia to manage inter-departmental operations.
- Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced industrial environment.
