Nexus EC, a leading engineering firm in Malaysia, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Lead Geotechnical Engineer to spearhead our geotechnical projects in Puchong, Selangor. As the Lead Geotechnical Engineer, you will take charge of geotechnical investigations, foundation design, and slope stability analyses. You will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions that adhere to the highest industry standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in mentoring junior engineers, ensuring quality assurance, and advancing our technical capabilities.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage geotechnical investigation programs including site exploration, sampling, and in-situ testing.
- Design and analyze foundations, retaining walls, slopes, and earthworks using advanced software such as Plaxis and GeoStudio.
- Prepare and review geotechnical reports, technical specifications, and tender documents.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical solutions into overall project design.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful delivery.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures for geotechnical hazards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification (e.g., Board of Engineers Malaysia).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software such as Plaxis, GeoStudio, or Slope/W.
- Strong understanding of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundation design principles.
- Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Experience in infrastructure, building, or mining projects is an advantage.
