We are currently seeking an accomplished Lead Infrastructural Engineer to take charge of our high-profile projects in Puchong, Selangor. As the Lead Infrastructural Engineer, you will be the driving force behind the successful delivery of diverse infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, water supply networks, and utilities. Your role will encompass full project lifecycle management—from conceptual design and feasibility studies to construction supervision and handover. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless integration of design, procurement, and construction activities. Your technical expertise will be crucial in developing and reviewing engineering designs, specifications, and contracts, ensuring compliance with local and international codes (MS, BS, ISO).
Key responsibilities include managing project budgets and schedules, performing risk assessments, resolving technical issues, and implementing quality assurance and safety protocols. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring stakeholder expectations are met or exceeded. Additionally, you will play a vital role in mentoring junior engineers and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
To be successful, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Infrastructure Engineering and a Professional Engineer (PE) certification. With over 8 years of experience in infrastructure projects, including significant leadership exposure, you have a deep understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and regulatory frameworks. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, and project management software is essential. Strong analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills will set you apart.

- Lead the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, drainage, utilities) from concept to completion.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff to achieve project goals.
- Develop and review engineering designs, specifications, construction drawings, and tender documents.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Champion quality control, safety, and sustainability practices on all projects.
- Contribute to business development through proposal preparation and client presentations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and applicable standards (MS, BS, etc.).
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and STAAD Pro.
- Solid project management skills with experience in budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
