MatchaTalent, a prominent player in the design and engineering consultancy sector, is seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer HVAC to spearhead mechanical system design, compliance, and project coordination for a diverse portfolio of industrial and development projects in the Jakarta Utara region.
This leadership role entails overseeing the complete lifecycle of HVAC system design, from initial feasibility studies and concept development through to detailed design, construction support, and system commissioning. You will be instrumental in ensuring all designs align with the latest industry standards, building codes, and client specifications. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams including architects, structural engineers, and project managers to deliver integrated and sustainable engineering solutions.
As a technical expert, you will guide and mentor a team of mechanical engineers and drafters, conduct design reviews, and optimize system performance for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. You will also be responsible for quality assurance, site inspections, and addressing technical challenges during construction.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the design and development of HVAC systems for industrial and commercial building projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
- Manage project coordination across engineering disciplines, ensuring seamless integration of mechanical systems with architectural and structural elements.
- Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and calculations produced by the engineering team.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior mechanical engineers and designers.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor installation quality and resolve any on-site technical issues.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for HVAC design phases.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure project objectives are met.
- Stay updated with advancements in HVAC technology and sustainable design practices.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in HVAC system design and engineering, with at least 5 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Registered Professional Engineer (Insinyur Profesional) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Expert proficiency in HVAC design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, and/or IES VE.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international building regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Proven experience managing complex projects in the industrial or building development sector.
- Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
