Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the development, optimization, and validation of manufacturing processes for new product introductions (NPI) and existing product lines, ensuring seamless scale-up from prototype to mass production.
- Drive automation initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve process capability (Cp/Cpk) within the manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with design engineering teams to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles are integrated, providing critical input on product design to optimize assembly and test processes.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including PFMEAs, Control Plans, Work Instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify root causes of defects, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to a team of process engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation and operational discipline.
- Manage capital equipment justification, selection, installation, and qualification to support strategic business growth and capacity requirements.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, throughput, downtime, and scrap rates, driving data-based decision making.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics, semiconductors, or automotive sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in process automation, equipment integration, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Strong track record in leading NPI (New Product Introduction) and process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is highly desirable.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills in English (additional language such as Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is a plus).
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing simulation tools is an advantage.
