Are you an experienced engineering professional looking to make a significant impact in the offshore energy sector? Subsea7 is looking for a highly skilled Lead Systems Engineer to join our dynamic GPC East engineering team based in our Kuala Lumpur office.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing complex system design and integration projects, ensuring that our offshore operations meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and technical excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional global teams, providing technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and driving innovation within our subsea systems portfolio. Tanggung Jawab
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for complex system engineering design projects within the GPC East business unit.
- Lead the integration of subsea systems, ensuring seamless interface management across various disciplines.
- Develop and review technical documentation, specifications, and engineering reports in accordance with international standards.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers to foster technical growth and ensure project quality.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular reporting on technical progress and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with company safety, quality, and environmental policies.
- Participate in technical bid evaluations and support business development initiatives as required.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Subsea, Electrical, or related discipline).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably within the subsea, oil & gas, or offshore energy industry.
- Proven expertise in system design, interface management, and technical project lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of relevant industry standards (ISO, API, DNV) and best practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a commitment to high-quality engineering deliverables.
- Proficiency in English; strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
