In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of technical writers and editors, bridging the gap between complex engineering concepts and user-friendly documentation. You will develop and implement comprehensive documentation strategies, manage content lifecycle processes, and collaborate closely with subject matter experts to produce high-quality manuals, guides, and online help systems.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and mentor a team of technical writers and editors to ensure high-quality output and professional development.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation strategies, style guides, and templates.
- Oversee the creation, review, and publication of complex engineering manuals, SOPs, and technical guides.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams to gather accurate technical requirements.
- Manage the documentation lifecycle from conception to final deployment across various platforms.
- Ensure all technical content adheres to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and utilize content management systems (CMS) and authoring tools (e.g., DITA/XML).
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in technical writing, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or lead role.
- Strong command of the English language, with exceptional attention to detail and grammar.
- Familiarity with technical documentation standards such as IEEE or ASTM is highly preferred.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and XML-based authoring tools (DITA).
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
