Mewah Group is a global leader in the edible oils and fats industry, and we are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Lean Engineer to join our operational team in Medan. This role is critical for driving our commitment to operational excellence and sustainable manufacturing practices. You will be at the forefront of identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing Lean methodologies to transform our production landscape.
As a Lean Engineer, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering and operational efficiency. Your primary focus will be to lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste, enhance productivity, and optimize resource utilization across our manufacturing plants. Tanggung Jawab
- Design, lead, and facilitate Kaizen events and Lean workshops to drive continuous improvement across various departments.
- Utilize Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify non-value-added activities and streamline manufacturing processes.
- Implement and maintain 5S standards, Kanban systems, and Visual Management tools on the production floor.
- Conduct detailed data analysis to monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify trends for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on operational bottlenecks and implement robust corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide comprehensive training and mentorship to plant personnel on Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategies.
- Develop standardized work instructions to ensure process stability and quality consistency.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in Lean manufacturing or process improvement within the FMCG or Agribusiness industry.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is a significant advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Lean tools such as SMED, Poka-Yoke, Just-in-Time, and Six Sigma statistical analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proven ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and verbal).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization software.
