Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, and clinical placements across various nursing modules.
- Facilitate a dynamic and interactive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and professional development.
- Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, practical evaluations, and clinical competencies, providing constructive feedback.
- Supervise and mentor students during their clinical attachments, ensuring adherence to professional standards and best practices.
- Contribute to curriculum review, development, and enhancement, aligning programs with national and international nursing education standards.
- Engage in scholarly activities, research, and publications to advance knowledge within the nursing discipline and contribute to the faculty's research profile.
- Participate in academic administration, committee meetings, and professional development initiatives within the Faculty and School of Nursing.
Kualifikasi
- Doctorate (PhD) or Master's degree in Nursing or a closely related health discipline from a recognized institution.
- Possess a valid practicing certificate/license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Malaysia or an equivalent recognized jurisdiction.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience in diverse nursing settings.
- Prior teaching experience in a higher education institution, preferably at the university level, for Lecturer position. Senior Lecturer would require more extensive experience (e.g., 5+ years).
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective pedagogical content and conduct student assessments.
- A record of, or potential for, scholarly activity, research, and publications in nursing or health sciences.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse student populations.
