This position is vital for supporting our operations in Indonesia by ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, managing corporate documentation, and streamlining business licensing processes.
As a Legal Assistant, you will work closely with senior legal counsel to monitor regulatory compliance, draft and review legal documents, and liaise with external parties including government agencies and law firms. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with Indonesian laws and regulations, including business licensing, corporate governance, and employment law.
- Prepare, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments.
- Coordinate with government bodies and external legal firms for permits and approvals.
- Maintain and organize legal documentation and databases with accuracy.
- Conduct legal research and provide concise summaries on relevant regulatory changes.
- Support corporate secretarial duties, including board meeting preparations and annual filings.
- Draft internal policies, procedures, and correspondence as needed.

Tanggung Jawab
- Support the legal team in ensuring compliance with Indonesian laws and regulations, including business licensing and corporate governance.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and managing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as required.
- Maintain accurate legal files, databases, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
- Assist in corporate secretarial matters, including board meeting preparations and filings.
- Draft legal opinions, memoranda, and correspondence under supervision.
- Monitor legislative updates and advise the team on potential impacts.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (S.H.) from an accredited university.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Solid understanding of Indonesian corporate law, licensing, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research databases.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
- High ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
