Join our dynamic team as a Legal & Compliance Senior Executive where you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's legal integrity. This senior position requires you to conduct comprehensive legal reviews of contracts, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory frameworks, AML/KYC protocols, data privacy regulations, and internal risk management policies. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to develop robust compliance strategies, mitigate legal risks, and drive organizational excellence in governance. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment to shape our legal landscape while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
Tanggung Jawab
- Review and draft commercial contracts to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation
- Oversee implementation of AML/KYC policies and procedures across all business units
- Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations including PDPA and GDPR requirements
- Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance documentation and training programs
- Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments for organizational processes
- Advise senior management on regulatory changes and their operational impact
- Coordinate with external legal counsel on complex legal matters and disputes
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field with professional certification (e.g., ICSA)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in legal/compliance roles within regulated industries
- Expertise in Malaysian regulatory framework including FSA, BNM, and PDPA requirements
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex legal documentation
- Proven track record in developing compliance policies and risk management frameworks
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train stakeholders on compliance matters
- Certification in AML/CFT or data privacy is highly desirable
