Energy Development Corporation (EDC) is seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our dynamic legal team in Pasig City. Tanggung Jawab
- Provide expert legal advice and support across all functional business units and departments.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, service agreements, and project documentation.
- Ensure full corporate compliance with Philippine laws, regulations, and industry-specific energy sector requirements.
- Manage litigation matters, administrative proceedings, and regulatory filings effectively.
- Advise leadership on corporate governance, labor relations, and data privacy matters.
- Coordinate with external counsel and government agencies to protect the company's interests.
- Conduct legal research to provide actionable insights on legislative changes affecting the energy industry.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be a member in good standing of the Philippine Bar.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate law, preferably within the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sector.
- Strong background in contract law, commercial transactions, and corporate compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
- Ability to interpret complex regulations and provide clear, strategic guidance to stakeholders.
- High level of professional integrity, attention to detail, and sound judgment under pressure.
