Tanggung Jawab
- Provide strategic legal advice and counsel on all aspects of maritime law, including charterparties, bills of lading, and shipping contracts.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and legal documents to ensure best practices and risk mitigation.
- Manage and oversee litigation and dispute resolution processes, working with external counsel when necessary.
- Ensure full compliance with international maritime regulations, customs laws, and trade sanctions applicable to the APAC region.
- Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory changes and their potential impact on business operations.
- Conduct legal research and provide timely opinions on complex legal issues arising in the logistics and transport sector.
Kualifikasi
- Admitted to the Singapore Bar (or equivalent foreign qualification recognized in Singapore).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of post-qualification experience specializing in Maritime, Shipping, or Transport Law.
- Strong command of English, with excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of international maritime conventions such as the Hague-Visby Rules and the Hamburg Rules.
- Proven track record of managing commercial disputes and litigation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multinational corporate environment.
