Tanggung Jawab
- Advise on legal matters related to construction contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with Singaporean construction regulations, BCA standards, and environmental laws
- Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with construction projects, including disputes, claims, and litigation
- Provide guidance on regulatory compliance, building permits, safety standards, and zoning laws
- Assist in resolving disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation as necessary
- Stay updated on changes in construction law and advise the company on potential impacts
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop policies and procedures that align with legal requirements
Kualifikasi
- Law degree from a recognized institution and admission to the Singapore Bar
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction law, with in-house or law firm experience
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Certification in construction law or related field is a plus
- Experience with international construction projects is desirable
