Trust Recruit is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team in the Central Region. This role is ideal for an experienced In-house Lawyer or a Defence Attorney looking to transition into a versatile corporate environment. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization's interests, navigating complex regulatory landscapes, and providing strategic legal advice across various departments.
As a key member of our legal function, you will handle diverse mandates, ranging from commercial contract review and risk management to representing the company in litigation matters. Tanggung Jawab
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of commercial contracts and legal agreements to ensure business compliance.
- Provide proactive legal advice to management on regulatory, corporate, and employment law matters.
- Manage external counsel and oversee ongoing litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution cases.
- Identify potential legal risks and implement effective mitigation strategies across business operations.
- Ensure the company remains compliant with local statutory requirements and industry-specific regulations.
- Support corporate secretarial functions and maintain accurate legal documentation and entity filings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline business processes while maintaining legal integrity.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Admission to the Singapore Bar or equivalent jurisdiction is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a law firm or as in-house counsel.
- Strong background in commercial law, litigation support, or corporate governance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a meticulous approach to drafting and contract interpretation.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
