We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Legal Department Head to lead our legal operations in Jakarta Selatan. In this critical leadership role, you will be the primary advisor to executive management, ensuring the company's activities remain compliant with all applicable laws while mitigating legal risks across all business units.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in corporate law, contract management, and regulatory compliance within the Indonesian legal framework. You will lead a dynamic legal team, overseeing complex negotiations, corporate governance, and litigation management. We are looking for a proactive professional who can translate legal complexities into actionable business insights that drive our organization forward.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and direct all legal operations, ensuring the company operates in compliance with all relevant Indonesian laws and regulations.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to the Board of Directors and executive leadership on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate high-stakes commercial agreements, partnerships, and service contracts to protect company interests.
- Manage the internal legal team, fostering a culture of excellence, mentorship, and professional development.
- Lead and manage litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution processes, coordinating with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Ensure robust intellectual property protection and regulatory compliance for all business initiatives.
- Proactively identify and assess legal risks associated with new business models and provide strategies to mitigate these risks.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (S1 Hukum); Master’s degree (LL.M or M.H.) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in corporate legal environments, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership capacity.
- Possess a valid Advocate License (PERADI) to practice in Indonesia.
- Deep understanding of Indonesian Corporate Law, Investment Law, Labor Law, and Industry-specific regulations.
- Proven track record in negotiating complex commercial contracts and managing high-value legal projects.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of professional ethics.
