DayOne Data Center is a rapidly expanding leader in critical infrastructure, currently seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Licensed Electrical Engineer (275KV) to join our high-voltage operations team in Johor. As we continue to scale our hyperscale data center footprint, the reliability of our power distribution systems is paramount.
In this mission-critical role, you will be the primary authority responsible for the oversight, maintenance, and operational integrity of our 275KV high-voltage electrical installations. You will lead cross-functional technical teams, interface with local utility providers, and ensure 100% uptime for our data center facilities. This position is ideal for a licensed professional with a deep understanding of high-voltage transmission, switchgear operation, and rigorous safety protocols.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of 275KV substation equipment, including transformers, switchgears, and protection relays.
- Lead high-voltage switching operations in strict accordance with site safety procedures and national grid regulations.
- Conduct regular diagnostic testing, thermography, and preventative maintenance to ensure the reliability of high-voltage assets.
- Liaise with the Energy Commission (ST) and utility providers to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and grid codes.
- Develop and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) and emergency response plans for electrical system failures.
- Analyze power quality trends and implement optimizations to enhance energy efficiency and system resilience.
- Supervise external contractors and technicians during site upgrades and infrastructure expansion projects.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Must possess a valid Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent license recognized by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
- Current high-voltage certification (e.g., A4/A0 or equivalent) for 275KV systems is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of hands-on experience in high-voltage electrical operations, preferably within a mission-critical environment or power utility sector.
- Strong knowledge of local electrical safety regulations, MS IEC standards, and grid interconnection requirements.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage stakeholders in a high-pressure, data-driven environment.
- Proficiency in using electrical simulation software and SCADA systems for power monitoring.
