Sungrow Power, a global leader in the research and development of solar inverters and energy storage systems, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Electrical Engineer / Operations Engineer to oversee the performance and reliability of our Photovoltaic (PV) power plant in Olongapo City, Zambales.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the solar power facility. You will lead day-to-day operational activities, monitor plant performance data, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure strict compliance with Philippine grid codes and safety standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the photovoltaic power plant to ensure maximum energy generation and efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze plant performance data using SCADA systems, identifying and resolving underperformance or equipment faults.
- Prepare and execute switching orders and maintenance schedules for high-voltage equipment (transformers, switchgears, inverters).
- Ensure strict compliance with the Philippine Grid Code, ERC regulations, and company safety policies (HSE).
- Coordinate with the remote monitoring center and national grid operator (NGCP) for dispatch and curtailment.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and mechanical systems failures.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers and contractors for corrective maintenance.
- Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly operational reports for management and stakeholders.
Kualifikasi
- Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE).
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in power plant operations, preferably in a solar PV facility.
- Strong knowledge of medium and high voltage systems (up to 34.5kV or 69kV).
- Experience with SCADA systems, inverters, and monitoring platforms.
- Willing to work and reside in Olongapo City, Zambales.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Preferably with a Certificate of Competency (COC) or other relevant safety certifications.
