Steady Stead Pte Ltd is looking for a motivated Lift Planning / AutoCAD Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team in Woodlands, Singapore. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the preparation of lifting plans, technical documentation, and crane operations.
As an intern, you will be an integral part of the engineering department, supporting senior engineers in creating safe and efficient lift plans. You will hone your AutoCAD skills by drafting detailed engineered drawings and assist in developing method statements. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation of detailed lift plans and engineered drawings using AutoCAD.
- Compile and review technical documentation, including risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
- Conduct site visits and surveys to ensure accurate data collection for lifting operations.
- Support senior engineers in calculating load weights, center of gravity, and crane capacity.
- Maintain and update the company's database of lifting equipment and certifications.
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure smooth execution of lifting activities.
- Ensure all designs and plans comply with local safety regulations and company policies.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D drafting is essential; 3D is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Keen interest in the heavy lifting, rigging, or crane industry.
