Are you an experienced technical professional with a sharp eye for safety and precision? Argyll Scott is currently seeking a dedicated Lift Tester to join our prestigious engineering team in the heart of Singapore River. In this critical role, you will be the final line of defense, ensuring that vertical transportation systems are installed, maintained, and operated in strict compliance with safety protocols and engineering specifications.
As a Lift Tester, you will collaborate with installation crews and site managers to verify that elevator and escalator systems perform reliably under diverse load conditions. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of structural and electrical safety in high-density urban environments.
Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct rigorous safety and performance testing on newly installed lift and elevator systems.
- Perform pre-commissioning checks and final inspections to verify compliance with Singapore's BCA regulations.
- Systematically troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, providing immediate corrective actions.
- Utilize precision testing equipment to measure load capacity, braking distances, and door operation speed.
- Draft and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, test reports, and compliance logs for every project.
- Collaborate with contractors and building managers to schedule testing windows and ensure minimal site disruption.
- Ensure all site operations strictly adhere to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in lift installation, maintenance, or testing.
- A recognized Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Strong understanding of vertical transportation safety standards and local building codes.
- Proven ability to interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering blueprints.
- Excellent diagnostic skills with a meticulous approach to data recording and observation.
- Strong communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with site engineers and stakeholders.
- Physical capability to navigate construction sites and perform inspections in varied mechanical environments.
